New series of educational seminars by ACCI, Ist College and the University of Hertfordshire

In the context of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Athens Chamber of Commerce, IST College and the University of Hertfordshire in order to improve competitiveness among Greek businesses and the Greek economy in general, a series of training seminars has been designed aiming at contributing to the professional development of executives, via the acquisition of specialized knowledge, as well as skills directly linked to the modern needs of the market.The first round of seminars was successfully conducted in the period May - June 2011, with the participation of enterprises from different industry sectors.

Continuing this important initiative and always taking into account the needs of Greek enterprises, as these are reflected by the findings of a recent ACCI survey aiming at recording issues and concerns faced by Greek enterprises in this critical period, a new series of seminars has been designed having as main objective to create the conditions that will allow Greek companies during the economic crisis, a healthy, dynamic and profitable activity.

The second round of seminars is characterized by a practical approach, as the lecturers combine a theoretical background with longstanding market knowledge. 

The seminars scheduled for the period November-December 2011 are the following:

1)        5,6,7 December 2011

Development of a Business Idea and Funding during an economic crisis.

2)        5,6,7 Δεκεμβρίου 2011

Smart Sales and Secrets to sell your product in foreign markets. 

3)       12,13,14 Δεκεμβρίου 2011

Ways to cover the Working Capital – Management of Liquidity Problems. 

The above seminars will take place at the facilities of IST College (Piraeus 72-Moschato), will have a total duration of 12-hours, spread over 3 evenings and 4 teaching hours per day (17:00-21:00). During the seminar, free educational material will be supplied, and participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Attendance.

The fee per seminar amounts to 336 € per person, and enterprises may use the LAEK 0.45% resource to finance the seminar.
