Competitive Advantage
The characteristics that make this programme particularly appealing are:
1) That it provides the academic requirements for professional recognition in the UK and consequently in Greece through registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Professions Council (HPC).
- Its practitioner focus, reflected largely in the placement of students in real work settings. The placement is expected to consist of approximately 100 hours of supervised practice and will normally take place during Semester B. The activity in which students engage on placement is likely to be varied, but can include evaluating some aspect of an existing service, identifying needs or implementing new procedures.
- The franchise agreement held with the University of Hertfordshire ensures the same quality and structure as that of the UH programme but allows studies to be held in Greece thus reducing significantly the costs of studying abroad.
Mode of Delivery
The programme can be offered in full-time mode (1 year) or part-time mode (2-3 years).
